Hey everyone!! I hope you all enjoyed having a shorter work week. I know I needed the extra day off to really recharge. Now that it’s really officially September, I’m ready to kick this month into high gear. It’s going to be a veryyyy busy but fun month for me. Thursday started one of my favorite times of the year here in NYC. FASHION WEEK!! I am extremely excited for this season and the shows I will be attending. So far it has been amazing and I can’t wait to share it all with you guys. The designers have all been stunning and the events have all been so fun. I’m actually taking a break today to recharge, get some work done, hangout with friends, and spend some time reflecting. Today is 9/11 and the 15 year anniversary of the attack. It’s so hard to believe it was 15 years ago. I still remember the day like it was yesterday and the tragedies that followed. It’s a day that will always be in my memory and I hope everyone takes a minute to remember and honor those that fought and lost their lives that day.
Anyway, I do want to share a few things from NYFW. I went to the LuLu’s event on Friday and had such a great time!!! I got to meet so many of the bloggers I follow and love. Everyone was so sweet in person! You know how you have an idea of what they are like from there blog or Instagram feed? Well I had my own ideas and I was pleasantly surprised by a few. My favs were Kelly and Courtney from Mimosas and Manhattan and they were even nicer in person. I have liked them for awhile and I was totally a #fangirl when I met them lol. They really are awesome and you should follow them if you don’t already. 🙂 I also got to meet a bunch of girls from Style Collective at the event too. They are all so nice and I am so happy I joined this fantastic group of girls. This is a great group to be apart of if you are looking to grow, network, learn, and meet fellow blogger babes in the field. #girlboss
I can’t wait to share more with you all soon! In the meantime follow along on Instagram 🙂
