Fall Days

October…

It’s the first day of October! I can’t believe we are in a new month already. I felt like I was just celebrating Labor Day weekend. September flew by so fast, that’s for sure. I’m excited for this month because it’s really truly a new season and there are so many fun things happening. I have a big trip coming up in the middle of the month to the motherland. If you guys didn’t know, I’m from Russia and we are going to visit hubby’s side of the family in Samara, Russia. I’m really excited but a little nervous too! This will be the first time I meet several members of his family (including his dad and grandma), and we have been married for 6 years lol. Also we have so many friends and family celebrating birthdays this month. My wallet is screaming already but the parties will be so fun! 🙂 🙂 Plus I’ve been working really hard on a new blog name!! It has been a long time coming and this lovely little site of mine has evolved so much over the past two years. Don’t worry there’s more on that soon!!

Cape…

With the season changing it’s time to swap out the clothes in the closet to all the cozy layers and jeans. I loveeeee my jeans and practically wear them every day. They just pair so well with everything and are so comfy. My favorite jeans are from GAP, Express, and American Eagle. I refuse to spend a ton of money on jeans. There are so many great styles, washes, and fits for well under $100 so no excuses. I’ve been buying jeans from those places for years and they have never disappointed. One of my favorite pieces for fall is a great cape. This one is a little fancier from my friend and designer, Kristi Vosbeck. I wore it during NYFW and got so many compliments on it. A cape is such a great layering item. It has the coziness of a sweater or jacket but can be easily removed when you get a little too warm. I have another camel colored one I love and will be sharing with you all soon. Enjoy the weekend friends!
