Happy Thursday friends! It’s hard to believe we are already into the first week of February. The month of January flew by and I slacked a bit on some of the goals I set for this year. I’m sure you guys have done the same and well, shit happens. Life gets busy, especially after the holidays, and before we know it the big goals and resolutions we have set have gone to the wayside. The good thing is that it’s easy to get back on track. We are only starting the second month of the new year. I like to think of February as the reset month. January is busy getting back into a schedule and dealing with all the new projects that come along too. So let’s all just reset. 🙂
One of my favorite things to do in the beginning of a new week is meal plan and pick up fresh flowers. Something about having flowers in the home just brightens the room and seems to lift up everyones spirits. The best is when the hubs brings them home without occasion. I have always loved having flowers at home ever since I was little. My Grandpa brought flowers for my Grandma every week even up until the time he passed. It was such a simple but sweet gesture to show how much he cared.
With Valentine’s Day around the corner this is the perfect time to get that special someone a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Hubby picked out this gorgeous bouquet from FTD Flowers. I love the mixture of roses, lilies, alstroemeria, and other filers. It’s full of vibrant colors which is really nice during the cold months. The weather outside is cold and grey and this floral arrangement really brightens things up inside our home. I’ll be making hubby a big brunch on Valentine’s weekend since it falls in the middle of the week. I’m thinking waffles 🙂 Also how cute is this polka dot dress? I think this is a great option for a date instead of wearing something pink or red. Not everyone likes to wear those colors so a polka dot dress is the perfect balance. It’s sweet without being too bold and you can wear this dress again for several other occasions.
FTD Flowers has so many beautiful arrangements and right now you can get 20% off a bouquet just in time for Valentine’s Day or just because you want to show someone how much you care about them. They do a lovely job with the delivery too. This is something very important to me since I’ve had some issues with previous floral companies. Definitely check out all the gorgeous arrangements at FTD Flowers the next time you want to send someone a special bouquet. One thing I love to do when I get a large bouquet is break it up into a few smaller ones so this way there are little floral arrangements all over the home. 🙂
