Orange Whiskey Smash…
Happy Spring friends! The first three months of this year have really flown by and I know I have been pretty MIA on here and there’s good reason. I have been so busy with my regular work and being a new mom to Baby D. He is such a great baby and I’m going to post a 6 month update next week. The time has just escaped me and I realized I haven’t written on here in wayyyyy too long. To be honest, I miss it and there is so much great content coming to you soon. Starting off with this delicious orange whiskey smash cocktail that’s just in time for all the spring feels and festivities.
Cask & Crew Whiskey…
So most of you know I’m typically not a huge whiskey/bourbon drinker but that all changed when I tried all the different flavors from Cask & Crew. The walnut toffee and roasted orange especially are so freaking delicious and smooth. Cask & Crew has completely changed my ideas about whiskey and they are based in upstate NY. I love supporting local companies and they are really so good! I’m currently experimenting with the ginger spice whiskey too. 😉 So when they asked me to come up with a recipe I jumped at the opportunity because I knew I had to share this with you all.
Several of my friends have already purchased a few bottles of it after trying it out at our place. You guys are going to love this drink. It has a great sweetness to it from the orange and toffee with a little bit of a nutty taste from the walnut. The muddled mint makes this drink so fresh and very easy to drink. Sometimes a little too easy lol. So if you have been wanting to try a whiskey drink, then this is the one for you.
Enjoy and cheers to the weekend!
