As the weather starts to get colder we are in need of adding layers to our outfit. This can be tricky since you don’t want to look bulky but still be warm. Today was shockingly on the warmer side so I didn’t have to add too many layers, which was a nice change. The days of today won’t be around for long. It was 41 degrees and sunny today! I love when we get lovely days like this. It was perfect for picking out our Christmas tree 🙂
Cords are great for the fall/winter season. They are a little thicker but still comfy and with the new styles out now they are stretchy too. Hello meal time! GAP has them in a TON of different colors so the possibilities are endless! Chambray shirts are perfect for layering. This versatile shirt goes with just about everything. It’s a nice soft material and comes in hundreds of prints and hues. All that is left is to add a cute sweater on top (totally loving my Paris sweater right now!) and you have a a great outfit and not looking 10lbs heavier than you actually are. The key to this is layering a sweater that is not a very bulky, heavy material. You will still be warm with two tops, no need to add extra heaviness and start sweating. No one wants that…If anything just throw on a cute scarf 😉
